Herbal Butter and Dip Mixes
Each package contains 1/4 cup. Herbal butters and dips are great for any occasion. You will be sure to impress your friends with your excellent cooking abilities. They also make great gifts for family, friends, and coworkers.
English Garden Butter Mix
Add 1 tsp. Herbal Butter Mix to 4 oz cream cheese, softened and 1 cup butter, softened. Mix all the ingredients together and chill for 1 hour to allow the flavors to blend.
Ingredients: Parsley, chives, thyme, French tarragon and sweet peppers.
Add 2 teaspoons of mix to 8 oz carton sour cream and 8 oz package of cream cheese. Blend well. Place in refrigerator for 1 hour and allow the flavors to blend.
Use on meats, vegetables, soups and stews.
Ingredients: Garlic, parsley, marjoram, chives and lemon peel.
Lemon Herb Butter
Add 1 teaspoon to 1 stick softened butter. Mix together and chill for 1 hour to allow the flavors to blend.
Use on fish, chicken, bread and in cooked vegetables.
Ingredients: Lemon thyme, lemon balm, lemon verbena, basil, parsley and lemon peel.
Whipped Herb Butter Blend
Add 1 teaspoon of blend to 1 cup softened butter and beat on high speed till fluffy. Herbal butter should be stored in the refrigerator. This butter is great over grilled vegetables or corn on the cob. Also, melt in the skillet and saute` fresh shrimp. Spread some on sliced bread, sprinkle with Parmesan and broil for the best garlic toast. The possibilities are endless.
Ingredients: Marjoram, thyme, rosemary, garlic, sage and basil.
All butters are to be refrigerated and stay fresh up to 3 months.
